
India, June 24 -- flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, has officially announced that applications are now open for its newly launched Flight Dispatcher Programme for Emirati talent.
Programme Details
- Launch & Timeline: Applications are open now, with the first intake beginning September 2026.
- Partnership: Delivered in collaboration with Emirates Aviation University (EAU) under a Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year.
- Course: The Flight Dispatcher Initial Course (FDIC) - a 10-week, GCAA-approved programme (CAR Part II) - prepares candidates for their official flight dispatcher licence.
Training Focus
- Subjects include aviation law, meteorology, navigation, aircraft performance, weight & balance, human factors, and flight planning.
- Emphasis on close cooperation with pilots to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Graduates receive a Certificate of Course Completion, positioning them for licensing and permanent careers in flydubai's operations division.
Eligibility
- Open to UAE nationals under 24 years of age with at least a high school diploma.
- No prior aviation experience required - making it accessible to fresh talent.
