India, March 17 -- Virginia Beach has a new place to stay-with perfect waves just steps away. The Sitio, a 20-room boutique hotel at the coastal city's new Atlantic Park development, opens March 16, with direct access to North America's first Wavegarden Cove surf lagoon.

An understated design aesthetic runs throughout the hotel. Guest rooms feature expansive windows and natural textiles, as well as custom surfboard racks, Lavazza coffee makers, and curated minibars stocked with local snacks. Seven rooms have private balconies facing the water.

Beyond the accommodations, the hotel includes a lagoon-view infinity-edge pool and sun deck, lounge spaces, and a private bar and restaurant centered on coastal-inspired food and cocktails.
