India, Sept. 21 -- Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) resumed operations on its third runway, 11R/29L, on September 20, 2026. The airport reopened after a seven-month rehabilitation project and after receiving the required regulatory approvals overseen by Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the GMR Aero-led consortium that runs the airport. The return of the runway brings IGIA's operational runway count to four.
