India, March 28 -- Thailand is preparing for a Songkran-driven travel rush, and authorities are rolling out measures across flights and rail to handle the crowds while keeping journeys more manageable. The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) is keeping a close watch on ticket prices and airline capacity during the holiday period, especially as disruptions linked to the situation in the Middle East continue to affect parts of the aviation network.
