India, Sept. 4 -- If you are planning to move to 'The Land of the Rising Sun', the cost of moving there is about to rise. From October 1, 2026, Japan will sharply increase fees for permanent residency and several other immigration procedures. The change is set to make long-term relocation more expensive for foreign nationals looking to live, work and eventually settle in the country.
