India, Oct. 1 -- Central Railway began an intensive ticket-checking drive on October 1, 2026. The drive will run through October 31, 2026. According to Central Railway's new ticket-checking rules, staff will check tickets on trains and at stations across the zone, with a sharper focus on concessional fares, reservation quotas and railway passes. The changes affect both single and group bookings.
