Booking Rules For Tatkal Tickets Changed From August 1: What's Different Now?
India, Aug. 3 -- Indian Railways' West Central Railway (WCR) has updated the rules for booking Tatkal train tickets from August 1, 2026. Customers are not required to wait in long queues anymore, thanks to a new token-based system. The move is aimed at streamlining the booking procedure, ensuring faster processing times, and better managing crowds at the reservation counters.
