India, July 31 -- Trekking through the Himalayas is not just about snow-covered peaks and breathtaking views. Hidden along the mountain trails, at around 4,000 metres above sea level, grows a rare flower that few people get to see. This is the Himalayan Diamond Flower. Locally known as Sikkim Rhubarb or Padamchal, it thrives in the harsh alpine landscape and can grow as tall as two metres, sometimes even taller than an average adult human. Its striking size and appearance make it one of the most fascinating natural sights.
