India, July 13 -- Vikram Solar has announced an investment of Rs 15,037 crore for the project of establishing a production facility for battery energy storage system (BESS) in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu and that it will generate around 7,500 direct and indirect jobs. Once in operation, the plant will produce cutting-edge BESS solutions, which will help integrate renewable energy, enhance grid stability, and address the increasing demand for energy storage technologies in India.
