India, Sept. 1 -- There has been a major development in the case of a leading consumer products company, which has increased its shareholding with the help of acquiring a further share of 5% from one of its existing shareholders. This transaction has raised its shareholding from 75% to 80%, thus providing it with a larger ownership of the business. This step was done after the earlier promise of acquiring the remaining stake within three years of the original purchase.
