India, Sept. 18 -- The jewellery industry depends heavily on efficient sourcing, manufacturing, and inventory management, as even small changes in making costs and gold recovery can meaningfully affect profitability. Deepa Jewellers, which supplies mainly 22-karat gold jewellery to jewellery chains and standalone retailers, is now moving part of its production in-house after building its business largely through an outsourced manufacturing model.

With a market capitalization of around Rs.1,812.90 crore, Deepa Jewellers' shares were trading at around Rs.188.60 on Friday, up 8.86% from the previous close of Rs.173.25.
