India, Oct. 7 -- Selling an airline seat is nothing like selling most other products. The same seat can show up on the airline's own site, on travel agency platforms and on comparison sites, each at a slightly different price, and rivals change those prices all day. A seat that flies empty earns nothing, so airlines watch the market constantly. Pricing intelligence tools have become a quiet but important part of how airlines decide what to charge.

Shares of Rategain Travel Technologies Ltd. were trading at Rs. 852.80, down 0.19% from previous close of Rs. 854.45. The stock opened at Rs. 848.05 and reached an intraday high of Rs. 863.05 and low of Rs. 845.55. The company currently has a market capitalization of Rs. 10,069 crores.
