India, Sept. 23 -- Orient Green Power, a Chennai-based wind and solar company, has announced a significant milestone in its development, following through on its commitments made during its 2024 rights issue. The company reported that a subsidiary had completed the construction of a moderately sized solar power plant in Tamil Nadu. It was built on the same site, where another solar facility was commissioned within the past year. In addition, a wind-repowering project was initiated in Tamil Nadu to address the concerns of investors who have been pressuring the company's management during the recent earnings conference.
