Carmakers are under pressure to cut weight, increase efficiency and keep a quality ride, driving them away from traditional steel and toward lighter materials. Composite leaf springs are a possible solution, particularly for light commercial vehicles and trucks. There are few suppliers capable of doing them reliably, at scale and to global standards.
