India, Oct. 1 -- Corporate bonds are how many Indian companies borrow for factories, loans and expansion, and banks, mutual funds and insurers are among the big holders. But when interest rates move or a borrower's credit worsens, those holders have few simple ways to protect themselves. Most bond trading still happens in private deals, which makes prices harder to see and trades harder to complete. Exchange-traded derivatives are one way to fix that, and they are common in more developed markets.
