NMDC Share: Why Record Output and Higher Revenue Didn't Fuel Profit Growth
India, Aug. 18 -- NMDC's realisation gains this quarter did not translate into proportionate profit growth because domestic iron ore prices remained range-bound throughout the June quarter despite global benchmarks softening due to weak Chinese demand.
The shares of NMDC are trading at 1.53% lower at Rs 84.61 on Tuesday. The market capitalisation is approximately Rs 74,018.31 crore. The stock trades at roughly 10.08 times earnings. The shares are up 0.63% year-to-date and 21% over the last 12 months.
