India, Sept. 12 -- The Indian life insurance industry has experienced huge growth in premium collection in August 2026 as there has been an increase in premiums collected from individuals as well as group insurance premiums. As per data released by the Life Insurance Council, the total NBP premium collection for the period was Rs41,197.78 crore as against Rs30,958.77 crore in the same period last year.
