India, Sept. 2 -- Filing a complaint or reporting a grievance has never been easy. The Income Tax Department has now taken a small but meaningful step to fix this by providing a dedicated window on its e-Filing portal where taxpayers can directly report corruption, misbehaviour, and even sexual harassment by officers.

What's New on the Portal The Income Tax e-Filing Portal has introduced a specific grievance category for reporting corruption. When filing this grievance, a taxpayer can mention the name and designation of the officer involved, along with a clear description of what happened.
