India, Aug. 27 -- India's organised paediatric and maternity care market remains thin outside a handful of metros, with specialised children's hospitals largely absent from tier-2 cities and the northern belt that accounts for over 60% of the country's annual births. That gap is what the company is now betting its expansion on.
With a market capitalisation of Rs.14,549.42 crore, the shares of Rainbow Children's Medicare closed on Thursday at Rs.1,432, down 1.10% from their previous close of Rs.1,448.50. The stock trades at a P/E of 50.12x.
