India, Sept. 18 -- The Vapi-based fermentation and API manufacturer Gujarat Themis Biosyn Limited has closed out a cross-border deal it first flagged months earlier, taking full ownership of a Japanese pharmaceutical company through a dedicated overseas subsidiary. The transaction, backed by a sizable loan facility, hands GTBL new manufacturing sites, proprietary biotech platforms, and a client base it hasn't had access to before. With regulatory sign-off now secured, the move fits into a larger strategic shift the company has been quietly building toward.
