India, Sept. 10 -- The monsoon season can affect coal mining operations by making mine areas and internal roads difficult to access. As rainfall eases, restoring mine connectivity and improving transportation becomes important for miners to bring production and supplies back towards normal levels, particularly for power plants that depend heavily on coal.
The share price of Coal India Limited has risen by 0.12% to Rs. 431.50, compared with the previous close of Rs. 431.00. The stock opened at Rs. 433.00 and traded between Rs. 434.00 and Rs. 430.30 during the session. The company has a market capitalization of Rs. 2,65,675.22 crore.
