India, Sept. 22 -- The gold market remained robust in the first quarter of FY27, driven by strong demand from both the bullion trading and the digital gold segments as well as jewellery and gold-backed financial products. In this context, the company posted an increase in sales but experienced pressure on profitability due to geopolitical incidents impacting international sales and the high costs of the business due to increased domestic sales of scrap-gold.
