India, Aug. 13 -- Accent Microcell Limited has approved a capital expenditure plan to install a 4.45 MW Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) on a turnkey basis. The purchase order was placed with Inox Wind Limited on August 12, 2026, with the investment to be funded through internal accruals and borrowings.

The move comes as the company evaluates its current electricity consumption across Plant-I and Plant-II and prepares for the additional energy requirements expected from the commercialisation of Phase-I of Plant-III. Rather than treating power costs purely as an operating expense, Accent Microcell is looking to create a captive renewable-energy source that can offset part of its electricity requirement.
