India, Sept. 15 -- US players are abandoning major gaming subscription services due to rising costs, which has proven to be a major driver of the exodus, according to new survey data from analyst firm Circana. More than 40 per cent of people who recently cancelled Xbox Game Pass Essential, PlayStation Plus Essential or Nintendo Switch Online cited price as their primary reason for leaving, a rise from 37 per cent recorded in the first quarter of the year.
