India, April 19 -- With only a few days remaining for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, the political spotlight has firmly shifted to women voters-now emerged as the kingmakers in the state. Accounting for over 51% of the electorate, women have become decision-factors, prompting political parties to recalibrate their strategies, welfare promises, and grassroots outreach to secure their support.
Recent electoral data shows that Tamil Nadu has around 3.24 crore women voters, compared to 3.11 crore men.
