India, Aug. 17 -- The Cameroon women's national football team finally ended their wait for a Women's Africa Cup of Nations title with a commanding 3-0 victory over Malawi in the final on Sunday. The Indomitable Lionesses produced their best football when it mattered most, racing into a three-goal half-time lead before comfortably seeing out the contest. Marie Ngah was the standout performer, scoring twice as Cameroon converted their early dominance into a historic triumph. For Malawi, it was a disappointing conclusion to an otherwise remarkable first appearance at the continental showpiece.
