India, June 21 -- In a major initiative aimed at enhancing the safety of women in the national capital, the Delhi government is set to deploy women police personnel on DTC Ladies Special buses operating along vulnerable, high-footfall routes. The initiative will be supported by women Home Guard marshals. Additionally, following the inauguration of Delhi's first women-only police station, the government plans to establish similar dedicated police stations in every police district to exclusively deal with crimes and complaints involving women and children.
