India, July 1 -- Sabrina Ionescu delivered the decisive shot as the New York Liberty defeated the Las Vegas Aces 93-85 in the 2026 WNBA Commissioner's Cup Championship on June 30. Playing at Barclays Center, the Liberty secured their second Commissioner's Cup title, becoming the first team to win the in-season tournament twice since its introduction in 2021.

New York appeared in control after building a 17-point lead, but Las Vegas rallied to move in front with 7:25 remaining despite playing without A'ja Wilson. The Liberty answered with a 24-14 run down the stretch, and Ionescu sealed the victory by knocking down a deep three-pointer with 16.8 seconds left, ending the Aces' comeback bid.
