India, June 26 -- Marina Mabrey delivered one of the greatest scoring performances in WNBA history on Thursday, pouring in 53 points as the Toronto Tempo rolled past the Los Angeles Sparks with a commanding 125-97 victory. She caught fire from beyond the arc, knocking down 9 of her 18 attempts from three-point range to lead Toronto from start to finish.

With the performance, Mabrey equaled the WNBA single-game scoring record, joining A'ja Wilson and Liz Cambage as the only players to score 53 points in a game. Her nine made three-pointers also matched the league's single-game record, capping off a historic night for the Tempo star.
