India, Aug. 7 -- Two courtside spectators were removed from Gainbridge Fieldhouse during the third quarter of Thursday night's game between the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces after an on-court incident prompted intervention from arena security. The stoppage occurred with 4:38 remaining in the third quarter, just after Jewell Loyd converted an and-one layup and prepared to shoot the ensuing free throw.

As play paused, Jackie Young and Loyd alerted officials to something happening near the sideline, with Young speaking directly to the referees while pointing toward the courtside seats.
