India, Aug. 3 -- Sophie Cunningham's recent remarks about transgender women in sports remained a major talking point as the Indiana Fever faced the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, August 2. Ahead of tip-off at Target Center, around two dozen people gathered outside the arena, with supporters of both Cunningham and the transgender community holding signs and chanting. Among those present was former ESPN broadcaster and current Republican U.S. Senate candidate Michele Tafoya.
