India, July 6 -- Aryna Sabalenka's hopes of winning her first Wimbledon title came to an end on Sunday, July 5, after a fourth-round defeat to Japan's Naomi Osaka. The World No. 1 fell 6-2, 7-6 (2) on Centre Court as Osaka delivered a composed performance to snap Sabalenka's winning run against her this season and secure a place in the quarter-finals.
