India, July 9 -- Delhi witnessed another spell of heavy rain on Thursday morning as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an Orange Alert for the national capital. Rain was reported from areas including New Delhi Railway Station, Munirka, and nearby localities, resulting in waterlogging at multiple locations. The rainfall brought relief from the recent hot and humid weather but also affected the morning commute. Amid the wet weather, Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport has issued a passenger advisory, asking travellers to leave early for the airport due to traffic delays caused by waterlogging.
