India, May 28 -- A major political controversy has erupted inside the Trinamool Congress (TMC) after senior MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar accused fellow party MP Kalyan Banerjee of repeated verbal abuse and misogynistic behaviour. The allegations surfaced shortly after she resigned from all major organisational posts in the party and publicly expressed disappointment with the leadership.
