India, Aug. 26 -- Wikipedia users are finding it difficult to access one of the internet's most widely used information platforms today, with a sharp rise in outage reports pointing to problems with the website. The disruption is also affecting some users trying to log in or make edits, leaving visitors unable to use normal Wikipedia functions.

The latest Downdetector data shows that 97% of reported problems are related to the Wikipedia website, while 2% concern login issues and 1% involve the app. The figures indicate that the website is overwhelmingly driving the current outage reports.
