India, July 26 -- Former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Daniel Adongo has been deported from the United States after a federal immigration judge ordered his removal earlier this year. The 37-year-old Kenyan, who made history as the first player from Kenya to feature in the NFL, was removed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on June 20 after overstaying his visa. His deportation came several years after his professional football career ended.
According to ICE, Adongo had been arrested multiple times in Indiana over the past decade on charges including felony intimidation, battery and disorderly conduct. He was also convicted of criminal mischief resulting in property damage in 2020 and received a 364-day jail sentence. Autho...
