India, May 28 -- US President Donald Trump, while speaking after a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday over the Iran war, threatened to blow up Oman, which was a mediator between the two fighting countries until Pakistan took over the job of a negotiator. He reiterated his insistence that Oman and other nations sign the Abraham Accords, a US-led treaty which encourages the normalisation of diplomatic ties between Arab nations and Israel.

When asked whether he would accept a deal that gives Iran and Oman temporary control over the Strait of Hormuz, Trump looked visibly angry and threatened to attack Oman. Iran has been proposing that it would control Hormuz along with Oman.
