India, Sept. 28 -- Pakistan have reached the Asian Games 2026 men's cricket semi-finals without playing a single ball after their quarter-final against Hong Kong, China was abandoned due to persistent rain at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin on Monday.

The match was called off without a toss as the outfield remained waterlogged, leaving no realistic opportunity to stage even a shortened T20 contest. Under the tournament rules, Pakistan progressed because they entered the knockout stage as one of the four highest-ranked Asian teams in the ICC T20I rankings.

Hong Kong had reached the quarter-finals after finishing second in Group B, while Malaysia topped the group. Their final group match against Oman had also been abandoned because of rain....
