India, July 1 -- R&B singer Chris Brown has been ordered to pay nearly $13 million in damages to a former housekeeper who was seriously injured after being attacked by one of his dogs at his California home.

The incident happened in 2020 at Brown's property in Tarzana, California. The victim, Maria Avila, was working at the house when she was attacked by Hades, a Caucasian shepherd that was being used as a guard dog. A jury has now ruled in Avila's favour after the case, which was filed in 2021, finally went to trial.
