India, July 31 -- Chelsea's long-running regulatory case has finally reached its conclusion, but it ends with significant consequences. The Football Association (FA) announced that the Premier League club has been fined £10 million and handed a two-window transfer ban after admitting to dozens of financial breaches linked to agents and intermediaries. The violations date back to the Roman Abramovich era and were voluntarily disclosed by Chelsea's current ownership in 2022 during the takeover process. The sanctions, however, will not immediately affect the Blues' transfer activity this summer.
