India, Aug. 8 -- FC Barcelona will play two pre-season matches on the same day when they take part in the inaugural Friuli Venezia Giulia Cup in Udine on Saturday, August 8. The unusual schedule is possible because the event is a three-team triangular tournament, not a conventional friendly fixture.

Barcelona will face Nottingham Forest and hosts Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium as part of their preparations for the 2026-27 season. The tournament is organised by Udinese in partnership with the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
