India, May 18 -- The death of Twisha Sharma, a former Miss Pune winner and social media content creator, has triggered outrage across Madhya Pradesh and on social media after her family accused her husband and in-laws of mental harassment, domestic abuse and dowry-related torture.

Twisha, who was originally from Noida, was found hanging at her marital home in Bhopal on May 12, just five months after marrying advocate Samarth Singh. Her sudden death has now become the centre of a major police investigation after disturbing details surfaced from the postmortem report and statements made by her family.
