India, June 10 -- Trevor Dietz, the manager of Irish rock band Fontaines D.C., has died at the age of 47. He passed away on June 7, Sunday. The cause of his death is yet to be confirmed but the band - consisting of members Grian Chatten, Conor Curley, Conor "Deego" Deegan III, Tom Coll and Carlos O'Connell - shared the sad news through an emotional Instagram post featuring a picture of Trevor with the members.

"Trevor Dietz. We are utterly heartbroken to let you know that on Sunday June 7th we lost our dear friend and manager Trevor," Fountaines D.C. wrote.

The band further mentioned how Trevor was with the band throughout its journey, saying, "We have never known Fontaines D.C. without him, the sixth member of the band."
