India, Sept. 21 -- A footballer lost his life while another player was injured after two motorcycles collided on the Gandhi Road flyover in Kozhikode, police said on Monday. The deceased was identified as 29-year-old Rijohn Jose, a native of Ollur in Thrissur and a player for Calicut FC. The accident reportedly took place at around 10:40 PM on Sunday near Christian College when the motorcycle carrying Jose and Gani Ahammed Nigam collided with another two-wheeler approaching from the opposite direction.
