India, May 19 -- Mark Fuhrman, the former Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Detective, who caught the public eye during his time investigating the Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman murder investigation and the subsequent prosecution of NFL player O. J. Simpson. As confirmed by his family on May 18, he died in his home in Kootenai County, Idaho, where he had been living since his retirement from the LAPD.
