India, May 22 -- The racing world was left in shock after it was announced that the 2015 and 2019 NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Busch, was no more. On May 21, 2026, Busch was admitted to the hospital after suffering from a sudden and serious illness, leading him to withdraw from the 2026 North Carolina Education Lottery 200 and the 2026 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Later that day, he passed away at the age of 41. At the time of the announcement, officials had not revealed further details regarding the illness or the exact cause of death.
