India, June 2 -- After months of uncertainty, the Oscar-nominated film The Voice of Hind Rajab has received certification from India's Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), paving the way for its theatrical release on June 19.

The film, based on the real-life story of Palestinian child Hind Rajab, had been awaiting certification since earlier this year. Its approval now allows Indian audiences to watch one of the most talked-about films inspired by the ongoing Gaza war and the humanitarian crisis in the region.

The development comes as global attention remains focused on the impact of the Israel-Gaza conflict, which has resulted in thousands of civilian casualties and widespread destruction across the Palestinian enclave.
