India, July 28 -- India added another silver medal to its Commonwealth Games 2026 campaign as Sarvesh Kushare finished second in the men's high jump on Monday. The national record holder registered a best clearance of 2.25m before falling short in all three attempts at 2.28m. Although Jamaica's Romaine Beckford also failed to clear the same height, he secured the gold medal on countback after requiring fewer attempts earlier in the competition. Kimani Jack completed the podium with the bronze medal.
