India, Aug. 5 -- Celebrity blogger and podcaster Perez Hilton was hospitalized after authorities responded to reports of a person livestreaming an alleged self-harm incident at a Miami-area home, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.

Officials said deputies responded after receiving reports about concerning content shared on social media. The person involved was safely recovered and taken to a local hospital for medical attention.
