India, April 13 -- Police have arrested Pune-based Human Resources (HR) manager Nida Khan, who is now being investigated as a key figure in a major workplace harassment and coercion case at a business process outsourcing (BPO) unit linked to a Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) facility in Nashik. Authorities believe her role may be central to how complaints were handled inside the workplace.
Investigators took Khan into custody on Friday (April 10) after earlier reports suggested she was absconding. Her arrest follows multiple complaints filed by women employees who accused several individuals of sexual harassment, threats, and coercion inside the workplace.
